Joel the Lamb

We had our church nativity yesterday with all the kids dressed up as shepherds, kings, angels etc... and I'd made Joel a lamb costume!  because I thought he'd look cute!

I bought a hooded top from a charity shop and dyed it with a white sleepsuit (it was meant to be black but they didn't have any so I went for antique grey which wasn't too bad!).  I then cut the sleeves off the hooded top, and sewed cotton balls all over it.  I used a pair of black socks for the ears and eyeliner to give Joel a little black nose and voila:  one lamb!!

I think he felt it was a bit over the top!  Thus the serious expression!!
