I have officially requested to go part time at work with a short and succinct letter and today had a phone call from our Administration Manager in the faculty asking me in for a meeting to 'chat' about it.
It makes my stomach go all knotty in case they say no.
I know the University is doing it's best to be 'family friendly' but in my office our line manager isn't so and I know she doesn't think job share or part time works.
And the thought of going back at all is a bit bleurgh to be honest.
So off I go tomorrow afternoon to see what they'll say. I hope they're going to let me. I really do.
