It's All Go....

We're rolling lots and lots at the moment, only from tummy to back, but the way he's swinging his legs about I shouldn't imagine back to tummy will take too much longer now!  He also likes lying on his tummy on us reclining on the sofa and throwing himself off sideways, he thinks that's a good game!

His teeth are being bothersome today.  We've had grizzles and tears a lot which is very unlike him.  I've put Dentinox gel on his gums this evening, and gave him a teether from the fridge which didn't really impress him at all!  His cheeks have a red glow about them, and I've made sure he has lots of nappy off time as I've read that teething can give issues there too but so far so good :)

His favourite games other than throwing himself off us sideways, are being an aeroplane and held under his arms and jumped up and down.  He adores his jumperoo, that was one of our best purchases yet and tomorrow, we're going to try him with baby rice to see what he makes of it.  It was meant to be today but Steve was out all day so that gives me a chance to read about it a bit more and start on the prepping of vegetables.  We've got sweet potatoes, carrots, butternut squash, parsnips and pears to cook into purees and freeze in cubes.

Other than that sleeping seems to be very disrupted at the moment.  He's been waking every two-three hours through the night for the past week, and it's taking its toll on me.  He's not always hungry, some times I think it's his teeth as he just wants cuddles and then from about 5am he won't settle unless I get in the spare bed with him as he just cries and only I can soothe him.  It's flattering (!) but tiring.  We're hoping some solids will start to make him feel more full and keep him sleeping although we know breast milk has more calories in it than solids, but he'll stay on the breast too for as long as we can.

All this and 21 weeks old today!
